New FORTIFIED rule alert for Gulf Coast homeowners. 🏠 Starting January 1, 2027, re-designation for FORTIFIED homes with asphalt shingle roofs is capped at 15 years. That covers FORTIFIED Roof, Silver, and Gold. If the roof went on new with the designation, the clock starts on the designation date. If it was an existing roof, it starts on the shingle install date. No documented install date? One term of up to five years, then new shingles before you can re-designate. Designations issued before January 1 keep their current expiration dates. Buying or selling a FORTIFIED home and need help making sense of it? Saturday was full of wagging tails, happy faces, and a whole lot of love! 🧡🐾 But some of the sweetest faces we met are still waiting for their happy endings. Our HOWL-A-WEEN adoption event brought together wonderful animals, the people who advocate for them, and a community willing to show up and show them a little love. And while the costumes have been put away, our mission to help these sweet souls find their forever homes continues. ❤️ Maybe Saturday wasn’t their day. Maybe their future family couldn’t make it. Maybe the person who needs them most simply hasn’t seen their face yet. But their stories aren’t finished. The dogs in this video are still waiting for their people! 🐶 We’ve included information about where to find them and who to contact about adoption.
